SodaStream Appoints Alfred to handle UK PR and Social Media Retainer

We are thrilled to announce that SodaStream have appointed Alfred as their lead UK comms. consultancy to drive brand repositioning and expansion in the UK market. We have been tasked with a specific focus on increasing brand awareness and market growth amongst a family audience, cemented on the brand’s health, wellbeing and sustainability credentials. SodaStream has gone through a period of brand repositioning and rapid growth since its merger with Soda-Club in 1998. Our remit will include establishing the brand as a key driver behind the prevention of plastic waste, aligning SodaStream with leading charities and government initiatives, as well as a focus on the brand as a healthier choice for the whole family.

The appointment will also see us take the reins across SodaStream UK’s social media platforms. Supporting the wider, integrated comms. programme with an influencer relations strategy.

SodaStream is the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of the ‘Sparkling Water Maker’ operating in 45 countries. It enables consumers to easily transform ordinary tap water into sparkling water, flavoured sparkling water and cocktail tonics, in seconds.
