Alfred Loves…Oscars Fashion

2nd March 2016

This year the Oscars did not disappoint with its red carpet fashion, with an array of amazing dresses walking down the carpet. Team Alfred have given their thoughts on the best dresses at this years ceremony below.

Saoirse Ronan

Hollywood glam with an Irish touch, although it’s head to toe sequins this still somehow feels understated and youthful thanks to the natural hair and simple make-up.

Rachel McAdams

Her simple yet striking dress stood out from all of the others with plunging necklines. A high neck, backless gown with dramatic train needs no embellishment, the simple accessories make it. Gorgeous colour too.

Emily Blunt

In our eyes she can do no wrong, and at the Oscars she simply rocked, managing to pull off one of the best looks of the night in this baby pink Prada dress and she was pregnant – no mean feat.

Alicia Vikander

Wearing a beautiful dusty yellow dress with silver heels all by Louis Vuitton, Alicia looked like a modern day Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and her Oscar went with the outfit perfectly.

Cate Blanchett

Always on style, Cate arrived this year floating down the carpet in her beautiful green custom Armani Privé gown, a winner in our eyes.
