Etsy – #EtsyForYou
Etsy is all about products that have a story, and keeping commerce human. Be it an interiors masterpiece to unique wall art, all of these products have a maker that hand crafted the item with love. How do we show Etsy’s target audience that this is the place to buy gifts that have real meaning?
For Christmas 2017, we created the campaign #EtsyForYou – where we enlisted 6 influencers and asked the Etsy seller community to respond to gifting challenges. These briefs were designed to mirror relevant audience profiles, and show the true breadth of product available on the platform.
3,000 Etsy sellers participated, with the sellers that were selected in the weekly influencer videos as highlights, reporting massive spikes in sales. We have also won a series of awards and shortlists for this campaign including SABRE EMEA – Best WOM Campaign and PRCA Digital – Best use of Influencers.
Etsy gave back to their community, helping their businesses grow, and as a result built long term loyalty. The campaign framework has been rolled out again (as summer campaign #EtsyForMe) due to massive success.
