How to get away with murder

Challenge:
Launch ‘How to Get Away with Murder’, the new TV show from Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal creator, Shonda Rhimes, with no talent access and limited assets.
Solution:
Filmed a social experiment to test what a group of friends would do when faced with the same question as the stars of the TV Show…. how far would they go to help a friend that may have committed a serious crime?
Supported experiment with research polling the UK on how far they’d go to protect a loved one, unsurprisingly over half of those questioned said they wouldn’t hesitate to cover up a loved one’s crime.
Experiment film featured across Metro, Mail Online and Daily Mirror. It racked up over 70k organic (no paid media spend support) views on YouTube in just three days. The Mirror and Mail Online had separately embedded the video on their own sites, with an estimated overall reach of 20 million.
The campaign awarded most impressive stunt of the week with industry channel ‘PR Moment’!
Impact:
Viewing figures for the shows premiere exceeded all expectations and it became Universal Channels Number One debut show in 2014.
