It’s safe to say we’ve had a pretty amazing few days, launching a very special motorsports documentary, and in turn welcoming one of the film industry’s finest onto UK soil… introducing Hitting the Apex.

From director Mark Neale, and produced and presented by non other than Brad Pitt, this weekend saw us host the World premiere via an extra special partnership with Silverstone at the UK leg of MotoGP 2015. We welcomed everyone from the world’s media, including sporting channels BT Sports, Eurosport, specialist biking press and national newspapers, as well as a host of key influencers and VIPs. MotoGP rider Colin Edwards and ex British racing driver Derek Warwick were also in the crowd, as well as 150 handpicked super fans and competition winners.

Following the premiere of the film, sports presenter Dylan Gray hosted a special Q&A with the film’s Director, Mark Neale.

All weekend there was a Hitting the Apex lounge in The Wing at Silverstone with exclusive clips and content on show for all to see, as well as an exclusive 11 minute piece from the film being played out over the main screens, once on Saturday and once on Sunday.

Then on Sunday, MotoGP race day, we welcomed Brad Pitt and his young son Knox to the Silverstone circuit, to walk the grid, meet with riders and carry out media interviews alongside Mark. See some great interview footage with Brad on BT Sport and official MotoGP channels.

An epic weekend for an utterly brilliant film. As summed up in most of the coverage to date, you really don’t have to be a motorbike fan to enjoy it, and we’re all certainly super fans of the action and Brad’s iconic voiceover.
