For the past six weeks, as part of our first theatrical campaign for Disney’s smash box office hit, Maleficent, we’ve been creating and managing a daily evolving tumblr.

Jam-packed full of exciting official film content and bespoke beauty, lifestyle and fashion posts created for us by hand picked highly influential bloggers, this was the number one destination for all things Maleficent related. What makes this site extra special is the way content is split into two sides; the left showcasing dark, gothic glam content reflective of Maleficent, and the right side showcasing ‘light’ fairytale chic content inspired by the ethereal Aurora.

We enrolled the very best in blogging talent in the UK to come on board and they provided us with some truly fantastic posts, perfectly targeted at the primary teen girl audience. Check out the links below for some of the best videos and blogs featured on the site:

Hugely influential beauty vlogger, The Persian Babe, created a wearable Maleficent look using MAC products. While top fashion blogger Fashionista Barbie wrote a fabulous piece showcasing Angelina Jolie’s style at the LA premiere:

Teen fave Gabby (AKA the Velv0t Ghost) created a simple summer Aurora inspired make-up look, perfect for summer.

With over 50,000 unique users during the six week period it ran for, this bespoke Maleficent Hub was a MASSIVE social success and we’re sure it helped with the film’s roaring success, taking £6.6 million in it’s opening week!
