Alfred Gets in the Superhero Spirit with LEGO DC Justice League: Cosmic Clash

This weekend saw us don our capes and get ready to destroy evil with Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, for the release of the new LEGO DC Justice League: Cosmic Clash, at an extra special screening of the film.
Joining in the crime-fighting fun were some celebrity guests including JLS’ Oritsé Williams bringing along son Omré, and LEGO fanatic Johnny Vegas attending with son, Michael Jr, as well as a host of key journalists, media and bloggers at the screening held at Warner Bros. HQ. Parents and children alike had a great time, with Batman’s sassy wit drawing some big laughs from the adults. Johnny Vegas even got stuck in and played with the LEGO play tables!
The social coverage from the event was amazing, with both Johnny and JLS’ Oritsé tweeting and posting photos from the event on Instagram, with our hashtag #CosmicClash being given a lot of love throughout the day. We had a fab day out at the event, and it was great catching up with top media including Fun Kids, The Week Jr, Kidz Cool It and bloggers including Dadda Cool and Mummy in the City.
We’ve also had a strong press office campaign in the run up to the event and the DVD’s release, having negotiated clip placements across key kids and entertainment websites, including Beano, MEGA!, Fun Kids and What Culture. We’ve also worked some magic with The Sun’s children’s supplement, The Fun, with an incredible front page cover, and activity sheets appearing every weekend over the last four weeks.
